Description

How do you take a stunning car and dial it up a notch? Maserati engineers answered this question by building the GranTurismo MC. All aspects of the car have been reworked to give this GT a performance edge, with improvements in weight, power, and aero. The end result is a vehicle that can do some serious canyon carving, yet remain as smooth and comfortable on the highway as its siblings. Power comes from the same Ferrari derived 4.7 liter V-8 we’ve been accustomed to in the Maserati lineup. In the GranTurismo MC, the engine has been reworked to deliver a substantial 45hp increase to deliver a total of 460hp at 7000 rpm. The engine is coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission that has five settings to handle any asphalt condition. When the roads are ideal, the MC can hustle to 60mph in only 4.5 seconds, letting out its classic Italian shriek from its new sport exhaust that is sure to make the boys at Modena jealous. The performance modifications don’t stop with the exterior and the drivetrain. When you step inside the MC’s cabin, you’ll be enclosed in a purpose built cocoon composed of carbon fiber and Alacantra all in the name to help shed weight. When you begin your battle with g forces, the redesigned seats will provide you substantial grip to help you read the high contrast dials quickly so that you can focus on the road. Rent the best Maserati GranTurismo yet, and discover all the details that make this one of the most remarkable vehicles on the road today.
