Rent the Bentley Continental Supersports and you’ll come away debating if physics is a conspiracy. For a GT that offers luxuries that rival a downtown penthouse (not to mention the weight of one), the Supersports moves with the thrust of a SpaceX rocket.
How did the Brits manage this? The secret is a 6.0 Liter V-12 monster under the hood, which churns out 621 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, the latter being available under 2000rpm. That power is routed to all 4 wheels, helping this luxury grand tourer scoot to 60 mph in less than 3.8 seconds. To make sure you can stop on a dime, Bentley employed its largest brakes (full ceramic nonetheless) to bring the Continental flagship to a standstill.
Inside the cabin, all this acceleration seems, well, normal. With one of the best-appointed interiors in the automotive kingdom, occupants are cocooned in satin-finished carbon fiber, leather, and metal. Unlike other Continentals, weight savings measures have been employed, which explains the absence of the rear seats. In its place is a beautiful Carbon Fiber stabilizer bar that bolsters structural rigidity even further. In addition, carbon fiber backed sport seats provide the necessary lateral support to cope with the additional handling prowess of the Supersports.
Considering that Bentley is a driver’s car, we are happy to recommend this vehicle for any special occasion by our Los Angeles or San Francisco Bay Area Clubhouses, especially for a romantic getaway or a night at the gala.
