Description

Rent the Lamborghini Huracan and drive what may be the last naturally aspirated Italian supercar. The newest Lamborghini grabs the baton from its predecessor, the ever-popular Gallardo, and takes performance to Aventador levels, which in layman terms is utterly ballistic. What else did you expect from the company that has been helping you furnish your childhood bedroom with car posters?

Lamborghini decided to give the revered 5.2 V-10 one final opus by having it sing to a mighty 602 horsepower without any forced induction. This power is routed to a new dual clutch transmission that transfers that oomph to all 4 wheels. The result is a 0-60 time that is under 3 seconds (2.6-2.8 depending on the asphalt). That is almost Bugatti Veyron quick. When sprinting in this fashion, the Huracan creates a surreal experience that can warp your senses quicker than a Woodstock attendee in the 60s.

As ludicrous as the performance metrics are, the vehicle is really easy to drive thanks to its magnetic shocks. They can react to the road in milliseconds and turn a fairly bumpy road into a smooth affair. This pays dividends in handling, where you can keep your line without being concerned about upsetting the superb chassis. Couple this to its mid-engine layout and you have a neutral vehicle that inspires confidence whether you are in Los Angeles traffic or on San Francisco Bay Area back roads.

The exterior has sharp creases that are inspired by the Veneno concept car, a vehicle that can be described as the manifestation between a raptor and a hunting knife. Combined with a side profile that harkens back to the Countach's silhouette and we have a super car that looks good from any angle.

Entering the cabin, you’ll feel you are only one fighter pilot helmet away from experiencing a fighter jet. For example, the TFT display offers multiple settings available depending on the driving mode enabled. Furthermore, starting the vehicle requires use of the ignition toggle switch, which may conceivably fire a missile (in this case, a 4 wheel one). After a few moments of driving, you’ll notice you have a well built and appointed interior that is by far Lamborghini’s best interior to date.
